| Why Santa Fe?
What is it about the name Santa Fe? It's a destination, now a 401 year old community, the state capital of New Mexico, a style of home, a style of clothing, an art center, the name of a railroad, a historic trail and so much more. For locals and visitors, it is often celebrated or excused as the city different. It is the place I call home and one I love and wonder about daily. At times we appear light years ahead of anywhere with our art, music, lifestyle and 360 days of sunshine. Other times we appear so different in our concerns, politics, planning that we often just smile and shake our heads and say "that's Santa Fe."
What happens here certainly has stayed here for centuries, although our name and whatever memory or meaning it has for you has traveled around the globe many times over.
